Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU)

Established in 1918, is Georgia’s first university and a symbol of academic excellence in the Caucasus. With a foundation in Georgian educational traditions, TSU has evolved into a modern institution that combines high-quality education with cutting-edge research.

Today, TSU is one of the largest universities in Georgia, serving approximately 22,000 students across seven faculties. It offers Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs, as well as vocational and certification courses. With strong international partnerships, TSU provides opportunities for student exchanges and joint programs, allowing students to earn double degrees. English-language programs attract a diverse student body, fostering a vibrant, multicultural academic environment.
